Poly Sci is pretty good at Colgate. I had two friends who went on to become professors. There are two study groups connected with the department. One is based in Geneva, Switzerland and includes about six weeks of travel to various institutions throughout Europe (one trip east to Austria and Hungary and one west to France and Belgium) and the other is in Wash DC and has an internship included as part of the program.

I have some friends who absolutely love it- one, I think, would have become a Poly Sci major had he not jumped in so late (ended up minoring). They like their professors and find their work challenging. If anything, students look up to these professors almost more than anyone else on the campus! (that's the impression I get anyway)
