Hey guys,

How are the dorms at Colgate? How easy is it to get a single as a freshman?
thanks.

Dorms:
East Hall- Substance free...very clean & a tight community

West Hall-Pretty sizeable rooms, right on the academic quad.
East & West both pretty modern inside

Curtis- The newest of the freshmen dorms. A little removed from the others, but right between the two biggest dining halls. Has an elevator, but known for tiny rooms.

Andrews- Huge quads....crazy partying

Stillman- Also quads, not as big but respectable...also crazy partying.

Gatehouse- Doubles... avoid....it's kind of gross

It's not too hard...I put single as my 1st choice and I'm typing to from my own little 9x12 room in East (the singles in West are 9x15)

Sorry to hijack the thread, but can any current student give me some information about the toothpaste program at colgate university? Like, once you get your major, is it possible to venture into the floss business, or would you be strictly restricted to the mint flavored industry?
