Targeted Mailing?

Hi. My S just received a mailing from Colgate and I was wondering if it was general or targeted. It contained a brochure called Conversations and had a letter signed by the Dean of First Year Students. Basically the letter was sympathetic to how overwhelming senior year can be and a soft sell of Colgate. It ended with encouragement to be in touch and the last sentence read something like "I consider this to be the beginning of a meaningful conversation." Anybody have any info or thoughts? Thanks.

General mailing-or just to everyone with Psat scores greater than 210 or something like that...

Probably general since they didn't say anything about his PSAT scores.
