Chances

Hey! I applied early decision and here are my stats:

i have a 3.95 gpa weighted and i believe its probably about a 3.7 unweighted
my sat breakdown: cr-650 m-670 w-680
ACT: 29
ive taken a pretty rigorous courseload.
i believe my essays and teacher recs are all good
my extra curriculars are v. good: ive done crew since freshman year, i play trumpet for the band all four years, ive been a student council rep all 4 and a retreat leader junior/senior, as well as community service.
My dad went to colgate, making me a legacy, and his two siblings went as well.

let me know what you think, im nervous. im obsessed with colgate

What year did your Dad graduate? I'm a legacy too.

I would say really good chance since legacies have a better chance of getting in through ED instead of RD (my regret not to figure this out sooner!)

I don't know if I would go so far as to say, definitely in, but think it is very likely.

id say you're in, but only because you're a legacy, not because of those stats. nice math score, dummy.
