Beautiful

I had never taken much time to look at Colgate's Prospectus before.
Wow the campus and the surroundings are just beautiful.

It does look gorgeous, but very different than the palm trees of southern california that I am used to. Has anyone here gone from CA to the east coast, and if so how hard was it to adjust to the weather and overall metality at the other end of the country?

i visited colgate from southern CA. To tell you the truth, the campus and buildings were beautiful, but the town and college itself was tooooo isolated (felt lifeless). I didn't feel like that in Williams and Middlebury, which I visited also. But i don't know.. when school's in session and 2500+ kids are around you, it might be different.
