work experience - Jr. Sub Editor - National Daily

Guys, I worked for a national daily here at Nepal as a junior sub editor. i am sending a recommendation from there. How much do u think this will help ??

I don't know. I am not sure if work experience is that relevant.

I for example work as consecutive interpreter for Spanish-English at the top and most prestigious company incharge of providing interpretation services to most hospital, insurance, banking, utility, telecom, technology, 911, court, police/fire department and financial industries in the US, some in Canada and the UK, and they had me call them and speak with an adcom in order to waive the TOEFL requirement...
