I got the same thing...
I got kind of excited to see it (you know, a big envelope from a college is usually good), but no luck yet...

these giant envelopes from Colgate are teasers!
That sort of thing should only be permitted in small envelopes!

TheOneCurlyFry,
The "100 Days letter" was a mailing sent by Colgate around 2 weeks ago that included a brochure about the first 100 days at Colgate along with a letter citing some fall semester activities and clubs.
The letter also said that they have recieved their "largest applicant pool ever- over 8,700 students have applied this year."
Hopefully we'll all be getting big envelopes again in a few weeks!

You guys need to relax. This mailing is only informational and is clearly not indicative of our chances of acceptance. It is fun to read and adds to my interest in Colgate but it still is three weeks to RD decision time.

Yes, but if they didn't send it to me, there has to be a reason, right? If there are some people they didn't send it to, that categories is more likely to be people they're likely to reject than people they're likely to accept.

That makes me feel better. Maybe they just didn't mail it to India? Or maybe India Post sucks?
