Your transcript looks great, but I would do a couple of things.

1. Make sure to highlight your AP scores, they're great and deserve recgonition
2. Find people who can write really strong recomendations and speak to your academic interest and ability to handle rigor
3. You probably have some great things to write about in an essay, so carefully choose what you write about. DON'T write about sports, your committment to athletics will come through on your resume, no doubt.

Let me know if you have any other questions and best of luck!!

Solid applicant. If you can up your SAT scores and reach the 2100 mark, that would definitely raise your chances of acceptance. GPA isn't bad either. I agree with GateNY09; emphasize some important things you feel you should address in your essays. Be careful not to write another essay on a cliche topic. Other than that, good luck!
