maybee?

Can I apply early as an international student with a 1980 SAT 1(580 reading, 690 math, 710 writing) and 108 TOEFL and a 9.3(out of 10) overall grade for the first 3 years of high school? I also have a pretty interesting resume...
I just took my math2 test and I am currently waiting for my results. In december I will take physics and the ACT and hopefully will gain better grades.

so should I even apply? I can pay about half of the school tuition.

Your SAT scores are low for Colgate standards. But they like to have international students, especially if you can pay. So you should definitely apply.

That SAT is at least better than ~ 30% of enrolled students and your grades seem pretty good; so you certainly have a shot.

If the mid 50% SAT range is 1250-1430, then approximately every 10 point SAT increase would be ~ 3.6% increase in %ile ((1430-1250)/50%). So, a 1270 SAT would be in ~ 32.2%ile among enrolled Colgate students. It's not exact, but it's not going to be off by very much.
