Is anyone willing to help an international with the Colgate suplementary essay?

I do not know if I chose an adequate topic, but 250 words do not let much room for developing my thoughts.

You can do it! The point of having such a short essay to test your writing skills- see how concise you can be in getting your point across. You will do a lot of that at Colgate. Try changing your sentences into active voice instead of passive (drop the "helping" verbs and conjunctions).
