I was also waitlisted, but I acted fast by sending them a letter with an update as to how school and things were going, as well as two additional teacher recommendations. After checking up on my current grades, Colgate accepted me, as of 2 (?) weeks ago. You really need to contact the office of admissions to see how your application is being processed
