I also expect to be rejected. My only hope is that since I'm not applying for any financial aid they just may want me for my parent's money and not my SAT scores.

I'm an alum living in Queens and I just received a letter from Colgate today (25th) that was postmarked on the 23rd in Utica. So it'll probably be 2-3 days for New Yorkers, depending on weather. You're lucky living relatively close - I'm from Seattle and it usually took a full week for me to get anything from Hamilton, NY!
Everyone who's accepted (in the US at least) will be invited to an accepted student event in your local area - please go! It's a great way to talk to current students and alums and get a non-admissions-office perspective, especially if you haven't had a chance to before. The NY event is scheduled for the 1st, so I'm sure you'll hear very soon...

JenJen9ny... I hate to say it, but that's not a bad plan!! Wish I had thought about it 30 years ago.

OK, I received my letter - rejected.
It's postmarked March, 20th.
Good luck to you guys who didn't yet receive the letter, and congrats to those of you who have been accepted! |

| Let's start using Official Acceptance Thread...
Aww.. I am so sorry Flid and Blanche2negru. And as hollow as it sounds, a year from now the odds are you are going to find yourself extremely happy wherever you land!
OK..
I've started the official thread and so, going forward, let's use that. And while it's not fun to put forth all your stats when rejected, it really is helpful for those kids looking at it for future reference.

You're international, right? So hopefully the wait won't be much longer for us non-internationals! Maybe we can expect them soon?

If you're in New Jersey then it should most likely arrive tomorrow or the next day.. I'm in Brooklyn and I'm hoping for tomorrow! I mean, if they were mailed out on Wednesday from upstate it can't take that long..

When can i expect something in the mail? I checked my mail box today and got nothing from colgate.
Can someone give me a time frame here since they dont email international students?
*PS... I received some booklet from colgate the first week of march and the post date was the first week of february? Am I suppose to look for their mail in one month??????
