Colgate admin the MOST HELPFUL ever

I mean, applied to a large number of schools, and to some in my home country too, and i can confidently say that the Colgate admissions office is the most helpful ever. I mean, they're always willing to help you out and they ALWAYS try to understand your situation.
My family was facing considerable difficulty in paying the entire deposit of $500. They looked into that and had it reduced. Then I thought if i could get more aid it would make the whole thing much easier for me and so they agreed to add a work study package to my existing aid award MASHALLAH.
They're by far the most helpful people i've come across in this whole process!!!

D ended up choosing another school over Colgate, but Gary Ross, director of admissions, is amazing. His hand-written note on her acceptance letter mentioning specific things from her essay and other materials was unmatched by any other schools!!

I was told that he remembers the name of every student that enrolls at Colgate.

I second that--our D chose another school as well, but Colgate had such wonderful admins, we almost felt guilty!

MADad-, sadly, he does know every student who comes in. He must have a photographic memory. When he saw my name on my tag when I first volunteered in the admissions office, he suddenly remembered everything in my applicaiton! :yikes:
