Packing???

I'm from Texas, and I'm pretty sure my current winter wardrobe just isn't going to cut it up north. Does anyone, especially a current student, have suggestions for what to pack???

(I'm a girl btw)

Bring what you have... there won't be any winter clothes until October anyway so you'll just have to go shopping then. Summer weather lasts for about a month and it gets cooler down to 40s and 50s by mid-October.

Hey, I am at Williams College, and the weather is not that much different from Colgate.

Bring thick socks, waterproof shoes, a windbreaker over your sweatshirt, scarves, mittens, woolen caps to keep you warm. The cold combined with humidity can become quite cold.

Bring shoes to tread through the snow. Try sierratradingpost.com

Buy them in advance, as having to buy them when you need them will be expensive unless you do not care about costs and the availability of goods and choices.

You do not need a lot of clothing, just the right type.

Being comfortable is important when accessing classes and migrating to different buildings.
