Do i have an ok shot?

I am a junior in high school. Lets start with the good: My first SAT was a 2100 (800 math, 630 verbal) but my second one will most likely be above 2200 (Ive greatly improved my critical reading scores to 740+). My PSAT score was 223 which means almost definitely a national merit scholarship. Im also an excellent essay writer, and have had to endure my share of challenges, so essays can be very good. Ive done countless hours of volunteer work through church mission trips and boy scouts. I am currently working in a CPAs office doing basic accounting, and the CPA is lending me out to lawyers to do work for them (who are all willing to write great recs. One is the number 2 divorce lawyer in all of houston) Im also a soccer letterman so playing soccer at a division II or III schools is an option.
The bad: The only bad is my grades (lots of Bs). Im taking ALL AP/IB classes (and the hardest AP/IB classes and am an IB Diploma candidate). I will probably not be in the top 10% at my school, but definitely the top 15% (of a class of 1000+), my GPA is probably around 3.2-3.3ish unweighted, but 4.2ish weighted (rigor is MOST rigorous). Do you think i can get into colgate if i make straight As my first semester senior year? What if i apply ED? Im planning on majoring in Economics/Mathematics and then getting an MBA.

I definitely think that you have a good shot at Colgate. I had a bunch of friends in my graduating class who go in with similar stats. We had a record breaking number of kids get in this year, something like 9 kids got accepted from my school out of 10 who applied, all within the top 10 - 20 percent of the class. I think I was the only one in the top 10% to apply (10th in the class out of about 520). I mean, your unweighted GPA is kind of low but that is understandable because of all the weighted courses and your weighted GPA is fine. In terms of SAT's, my friend had a 1380/1600 and got into Colgate no problem. As long as you have some good EC's, strong teacher reccomendations, and decent essays, you should be fine. Best of luck with the whole admission process!

I would think if you apply ED that you would probably get in.
