I applied ED I.

I'm not sure what to say about you getting in. When I was there, I heard about the alumni and the ED advantages they give, but your numbers are not that good.

How good are you at cross country and track? That could be your angle in.

i'm really keeping my fingers crossed. theres no way i could play a sport up there, im not all that good. also im not asking for financial aid....i dont think colgate is need blind

do we find out exactly on december 15th, or do they email us beforehand? im guessing dec. 15th is the day that our acceptance/denial comes in the mail, but it sounds like they make up their minds on like dec. 10th

arg, why did i have to fall in love with a school thats so hard to get into?

Tcolgate, not applying for financial aid should be a small plus for you. Not sure about how they handle mailing out decisions, but I don't think that they would email it to us.

Ena, I have no idea about how they handle international student with a lot of need. I would have to guess that since they are not need blind that the money thing will probably hurt you. On the other hand, being a minority is a big boost for you.

i asked the admission office and they said they will have mailed the decisions by the end of december and it usually takes a week for the decisions to be received.

hey guys,

im applying ED as well and i check my application status every day on colgate portal. the only thing that still seems to be missing are my TOEFL scores. i sent the request to TOEFL on Nov. 13th. What if they don't arrive till Dec 15th?
and do u know if there's any way we could find out if we got online? i live in croatia(europe) and if they mail it on 15th it'll arrive on 23rd. and i'll freak out till then!
please guys, let me know when someone receives their decisions (which will be acceptances- of course (imagine if we all got in and then we would actually see each other next fall)

GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL !!!

to ena

you'd better fax an photocopy of your TOEFL score report to the admission office and explain the situation.

Hope we all can get in and celebrate thanksgiving & christmas, etc next year ^_^
