Difference between "teacher evaluation", and "recommendation" requirements???

So when a school says it will take up to 2 recommendations, does that mean on top of the "teacher eval's" from the common app? Im confused about this.

    Teacher evals in the common app are the exact same thing as the required recs.

    so basically having a teacher fill one of the teacher evals out is the same as having one send a rec?

    Yes, the teacher eval forms in the common app are the exact forms that your teacher recs should be sent on. Teacher recs are sent through the common app using the teacher eval form. If your teachers have used a different format to write the rec, that's fine, they can just attach or upload a separate letter of rec to the teacher eval form and submit that whole thing.

    So I can send in the teacher recommendation instead of teacher evaluation since the two are basically the same?
