Let me try this one.....last.....time.
The UCs do not superscore any test data.....UC looks at the subscores of the highest individual sitting, whether SAT or ACT. There is no such thing as a superscored SAT/ACT on the UC application.
If 29 is your highest composite ACT score, and its is higher than the SAT, the 29 is the only test that UC will (supposedly) use for admissions. UC will review at the subscores of that 29, but not subscores of other test sittings.
However, since all tests and scores will be included on your application, a reader could conceivably glance at your other tests. But for admissions purposes, the reader is only supposed to use the test score from the highest single sitting.
