Occidental supplement?

I am applying to occidental and have a question about one of the supplement questions. The questions is: Choose a book you have read - at any point in your life - that most affected you and clarify its effect.

do you think it would be ok to talk about a short story? i have a ray bradbury short story in mind that has really stuck with me throughout the years and i would like to write about that but im not sure if it qualifies as a book.

thank you!

If you can write something meaningful about this short story, then do it, especially if this is more inspirational to you than a full length book that you might attempt to read quickly in order to answer this question. Generally, I would say they are expecting you to write about a book, not a short shorty, but in the end, quality may be better if your personally write about a short story that has meaning to you.
