| Honors College Application Turned in Late?
How strict are colleges when it comes to scholarship/honors program deadlines?
I did my application for East Carolina's Honors College, but I wasn't able to send it in... The postmark deadline was on Saturday, March 24. I went to my post office around 4:30, but I never realized that Saturday P.O. hours were shorter, and the nearby FedEx/UPS stores were already closing down as well. If I head down to mail it tomorrow and mark it for rush/express delivery, will that help make up for lost time? Or am I pretty much short on luck at this point?
Honestly, it was more of a last-minute decision to apply for ECU's Honors program since my family learned that we would be moving down to the Greenville, NC area where ECU is... If they end up rejecting it due to tardiness, it wouldn't be the end of the world, but it would definitely be great if they were somewhat lenient about it...
