College acceptance with these grades?

Are colleges okay with a C grade?

I am a sophomore in high school, and these are my following grades:
English 2x(highest english a sophomore can take): A 91%
German 2: 78.98% (Low B hopefully)
Cooking: A 97%
Trig/Precalc: 70%
History AP: 81.77% (get an extra GPA point for that one)

Would a college accept me? Or am I doomed and not going to be able to get in? My grades last year were 3 As 2 Bs and one C. I also play on two varsity sport teams. Im not looking to get into Ivy League colleges, I would be content with a State University, but I would ideally like to go to as top-notch a college as I can manage. Just as long as I dont have to go to a JC. Thanks a bunch!

Depends on the state university. UVA and UMich probably wouldn't accept you based on your grades, whereas Alabama or Mississippi would.

I live in California but I was looking to go to school out-of-state. So I would still be acepted at some colleges? Are my options limited? What if i worked really hard my Junior and Senior years and got nearly perfect grades? Would that help?

Cal Lutheran would probably take you as well as University of Redlands, or Chico State

There are Out of State schools that would take you but it depends on whether or not you can afford them

Cost isnt an issue for me currently, I was just wanting to know if I had no hope of being accepted anywhere, and how limited my options were. Or have I hit a dead end basically as far as college acceptance goes?

There are a lot of colleges that will take people with your grades.
