Graphic Design or 3D Animation?

I am torn between a BFA Graphic Design program at the resourced www.santafeuniversity.com in New Mexico and a Bachelor of Art and Design (3D Animation and Visual Effects) degree at the Auckland,
New Zealand based elite Leading Design Courses | Media Design School New Zealand. Putting aside all geographical considerations, which of these courses clicks with the market, and which of these two preferred institutions is more likely to model me into an upbeat professional?

My advice to any graphics aspirant. March yourself into a real shop and ask who they hire what are the qualifications. Ask what is the avg debt load of graduates of Santa Fe and the NZ school. Ask (and FIND OUT THE TRUTH) how many graduates are actually working in the visual arts field upon graduation -- and five years after graduation. The fact is, it takes lots of talent and self drive to go after the jobs, the free lance assignments,ec.

I would also repost here:
