Advantage of being a Japanese?

I am a pure Japanese and I took ESL classes in my freshman and sophomore years. So, I couldn't take any foreing language. Although, I am sure that my japanese is better than people in IB Japanese and my English is pretty good(SAT score: 2000+) In my situation, will not taking a foreing language be a disadvantage?

I dont think it would be a disadvantage if you utilized your ability to speak japanese, perhaps tutoring other kids or something simple like writing Japanese poems, colleges really like to see the unique aspect of something you can do that others cant, (like speaking japanese)

Most schools 'prefer' or 'recommend' a foreign language for a certain number of years - it is usually not required and there are often exceptions made for students for whom English is not their first language. Look at each school's web site with admissions requirements. If it doesn't answer your question, you can always ask the admissions office directly by email or by calling.
