How many hours/days a week should I spend working on Common App/Supplements/Essays?

I want to be ready by November, (possibly October 15 for ED at one school) and I just started working on the Common App and my personal statement.

Also, I'm sort of a slow writer. I'm getting faster, but I'm still pretty slow.

Same here. What I'm doing is devoting around thirty minutes to an hour daily, but most of it gets done on the weekends.

As much time as you need to get it finished. I'm bad with scheduling so I'm not giving myself a goal of x hours per week, but so far I end up spending about 4 hours a week on essays alone, and I'm nowhere near finished.
