Question about Early Action and sending an SAT II score

So I just took an SAT II/Subject Test this past October. I'm getting my score this Thursday. However, if I'm not satisfied with my score, I plan to re-take it in December. I cannot retake it in November because I'm going to re-take the SAT I then.

Is it okay to re-take the II test and send my December score, if I'm not satisfied with my October score, if I want to do Early Action, or should I just either forget about Early Action or my test score? The test score is NOT required, but I want it anyways to show colleges who I am.

The deadline for Early Action is December 1, 2012. So is it okay for me to be like, ''Wait, wait!'' if I want to take a II test again in December if I've already applied for Early Action?

Question is unanswerable without knowing college to which you are referring.

Oh sorry. I'm applying to CUNY schools (most of them), Adelphi University, Pace University, and New York Institute of Technology....

Aldelphi and Pace: these take through Nov SAT test scores for EA (for Nov test you should designate college as one to receive scores in your test application) and do not use SAT subject tests for admission and thus you don't need a Dec SAT subject test for either early action or regular admission.

NYIT: does not require subject tests but will consider them if submitted. By Dec 1 you need to submit completed application and have sent your Nov test score. You might be able to supplement file with Dec subject test scores if they arrive in time to be considered for EA and that is subject to question since EA decisions will be made by Dec 31. In other words, you can submit the Dec tests and they may or may not get there to be considered before an EA decision is made on you.

CUNY's: these do not have an early action program and for most things do not use SAT IIs so I assume you are referring to the Macaulay Honors program for which the application is due December 1. Though subject tests are not required, they will be considered for that program and December subject tests can be submitted to supplement file and will be considered.

Oh okay. Then I guess I'm not going to retake the II in December then. I got a 680, by the way.
