I forgot something on the Common App?

I submitted my applications to U Chicago and Boston College an hour ago, but I just realized I forgot to write AP Scholar in the awards section. I filled out the AP/SAT II section on the Common App, though, so they'll see all my AP scores. Do you think I should try and contact the colleges to let them know I left this out? Does it not matter, or will it do more harm than good (they'll think I'm irresponsible)?

im sure it wont be a problem, esp if you posted your AP scores. i feel like emailing them just to tell them you forgot to add a minor detail might prove to be more troublesome than helpful, since they're already getting tons of emails about admissions questions and whatnot. plus, you prob have a bunch of other honors so i'm sure its fine

Haha I actually don't have a bunch of other honors, I only have NHS and National Spanish Honor Society, so I think I kind of needed it. I did end up emailing them and they told me to upload a Word document with an updated Honors section, so that's what I did. Thanks anyway!

I know you already sent it, but AP Scholar is pretty meaningless when it's self evident from your common app.

To change your common app for future use, create a new version (Google it or look on the CA's FAQ) and upload the new information.
