My child's guidance counselor is refusing to write a letter of recommendation unless my child waives his FERPA rights. Now what do we do? Why is the question even there if you can't refuse to waive them? Without the guidance letter, the application is incomplete, thus the guidance counselor's refusal will keep my child from actually applying from college. Help!
