It doesn't matter whether its's 'better' or not and it doesn't matter if anyone else in your family attended college, they ask for the college history of your parents, so that's what you answer.
If they attended CC but didn't finish, you write down the name of the college, but leave the part blank where they ask for the degree received.
Write the truth, that's what better. I don't think it matters if no one in your family attended college like what entomom said. It's your application, not your family's.
