Need blind in no way means they'll get full aid, so that really has nothing to do with the question.

Unfortunately if your score is in the range, top schools will most likely be out of reach, especially for internationals. The standards are higher for international students because they have such a large pool of applicants for so few spots.

Whether or not a student feels he/she needs a full ride- and whether or not a college meets full need- you should have a solid idea of the finaid-related factors the schools will look at, when they consider their aid offers. There are no CSS Profile formulas available; each college will have its own for assessing your ability to pay and how much.

Amherst states: a minimum score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL. Lafayette states minimum 80.

Lafayette: Aid is extremely competitive and may impact the admission decision.

As you research colleges, it is critical that you check the "fine print."
