Current Junior.
GPA: no 4.0 scale, but 96.5 average throughout high school.
SAT II: Bio 710, Chem 750
All ECs are listed how they will be by the end of senior year
ECs: Varsity swimming all 4 years, captain 2 years, USA swimming same team since I was 7, Science Bowl Last two years(prospective), Science Olympiad Last two years, Student tutoring volunteer program 3 years, Student council member all four years, one of 6 representing class.
Awards:None, If we do good in science bowl/Olympiad will this help?
Job experience:Lifeguard, Doctor job shadows(self initiated)
My Volunteering I've been told is weakest, should be about 100 hours by college admission time.
APs/Honors:
Honors BIO, AP World, Honors Chem, Honors English, AP stats, AP english lit, AP Physics B, Honors Precalc, APUSH, AP gov., AP english comp, AP Chem, AP bio, AP calc BC

Took SAT, I'm expecting(fingers crossed) a low 2000 to a low 2100 first time.

Also looking for research with math Profs, could this help?

You'll definitely get into Penn State, Uconn, and Northeastern but the other three schools are going to be a lot tougher.

UPenn: If CAS or SEAS, aim for a 2250+. ED will definitely help, and i'd say you have an average chance there. If Wharton, aim for 2300+ and take a math sat2. With these stats, I'd still call UPenn a reach.

Brown: Probably will need a 2200+ along with great essays and LoR's. Apply ED and you have a fairly good shot of getting in.

MIT: Unlikely (but still possible). You need to get your SAT up to around 2300 and your SAT2's need to be MUCH higher. Here's its SAT2 breakdown (1 math and 1 science required):
25% - 75%
[760, 800] -- Math
[740, 800] -- Science

Of course, if you're trying to get recruited for swimming none of this applies.

My advice: Bump up your SAT scores and research colleges more. There is no real "pattern" to your list, besides that you're looking for a populated environment (either student body or surrounding city). If you remain at a 2000-2100 and with low 700 sat2's, I'd forget MIT and Penn altogether.

Thanks, I beg to differ on this "pattern", besides for Northeastern and PSU, all have stellar math programs. Thanks alot for the asssistance

Penn State is pretty respectable for math. So are a number of other state universities like Minnesota, Stony Brook, Rutgers, Wisconsin, Maryland, etc..

An important consideration would be cost and financial aid. At some time before you make your application list, talk to your parents about what they are able and willing to contribute, and what parameters you can put in the net price calculators at various schools. If they give vague answers like "we'll figure it out after you get accepted", be sure to have to very low cost safeties, possibly from the Automatic Full Tuition / Full Ride Scholarships .
