How hard is it to get into CU Boulder?

I'm a sophomore in high school, taking AP and honors classes. I plan on taking them next year as well. Im in:
Interact (rotary) club
Student council
Art club
Blue dots (democrat club)
Republican club
Debate team

Next year I'm going to Harvard for a debate tournament so I think that'll look good on apps too. I want to major in political sciences. Also I live in Texas so I'm out of state.

So my question is- how hard would it be to get into CU Boulder, or any other decent college for that matter?
My high school is very competitive so UT Austin isn't a feasible option for me as I am not in the top 8 percentile.

Thank you all! :-)

Why are you in a democrat club and a republican club? I feel like that will make you seem like you just joined clubs just because.

CU Boulder is a match most likely, maybe a low match, but it depends on your SAT. CU Boulder is a top public (Obviously below UVa, UWash, UMich, etc. but still good) but with a lot of AP's and honors, you'll probably be fine.

First off, thank you for your reply. I'm a demcrat but I go to republican club to debate + keep an open mind and hear both sides of issues, not just for the sake of joining clubs.
Why would I be a low match? Is it because of my GPA?

I thought CU Boulder was the ultimate party school! I know people with like 2.0s that got in. 86.9 percent acceptance rate, 96.something for early decision. I think you'll be just fine.

Low match as in almost a safety. It's a party school but they have good academics. Look at Vanderbilt, they party a ton, but it's a top school. They are considered by some as one of the Public Ivies. Do I agree... Maybe, but it's definitely pretty good. And yes, 4/20 is big there. But yeah, low match/safety depending on your SAT for OOS.
