My son sent in 2 SAT's (highest sitting 2290; superscore- 2330--ie CR 760; Writing-770; Math- 800 as highest in each area), 2 SAT subject tests (Math 2- 800; US- 760) and 3 ACT's--highest sitting 34; superscore- 35. He applied ED to Amherst. On their site it shows that they have all of the tests he sent in (and the highest ones, ACT and SAT, are marked "highest" and the others are marked "Notational Only"). HOwever, on another page on their website, where it tells the student which of the many forms/documents the college has received, it says "Waived" by SAT I and SAT II and "Received" by the ACT's and all else (eg essays, letters, etc). Why would it say "Waived"? We know they have the SAT scores (from the other part of the website--and we called and spoke to someone 2 wks ago to ensure that the test scores all arrived). I think that the ACT and SAT are pretty comparable, but the SAT is pretty good (not all 800's, I know, but fairly good, I think)--so should we be worried that it says "Waived"? Thanks for your opinions and advice!!
