do i put this on an application?

i have a list of these things:

1)Selected for National and Congressional Student Leadership Conferences 2)Member of the High School Honor Society and member of National Society of High School Scholars, and National Honor Roll

basically, im a member of all that stuff, or was chosen to participate in it, but it just seems as though almost everybody is chosen also ....

is it worth putting in the applications when applying to universities? what about when applying to top universities like harvard and all? will it just tick off the admissions officers, reading all that nonsense almost everybody is part of or chosen for?

Best and most accurate answer: NO, do not put those "achievements" on your application.

yeah, sorry, that congressional student leadership conference is a bull-**** money-making scheme. and the honor roll thing is just sort of weird... if your grades are good anyway, does it add anything to say that you were on the National Honor Roll, whatever that is?

hold up...that first one... the "member of the high school honor society" thing...do you mean national honor society...cuz if it is national honor society...i would definetly reccommend putting it in...if not...you should probably leave it out...

What about the HS Honor Roll? I want to put it on my UW-Seattle Activies Log, which I can only put up to 5. I have to write a short paragraph describing what this activity/award shows about me. What can I write? It's only an honor roll. It's not like I do/get anything....
