Girl Scout Gold Award

Does it really hold as much weight as eagle scout?

    If you go to the Naval Academy and Notre Dame web sites, both places have the percentage of gold award winners on their admission profile "brag sheets." So it must mean a lot. These are two of the very best.

    Yes, thank heaven, the Gold Award is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Still not as well-known as the Eagle, but most admissions officers are familiar with it. Unfortunately, there are more scholarships available for Eagle recipients than Gold, but you can check on the studio2b.org website for Gold Award scholarship info.
