do kids of chinese parents considered first generation college kids?
my parents received doctoral degrees in china, but the US doesn't recognize their "Chinese" degrees...

Does that mean I'm a first generation college student???

nope. sorry but this question has been asked a lot on these forums... use search. ANY degree from ANY country disqualifies one from first generation.

yep, regardless whether the US accepts it, your parents have the qualifications and education and can be hired based on that fact...
