REALLY need help choosing Senior Year classes!

Hey I have been to my guidance counsellor back and forth constantly changing my schedule for next year. I really need help deciding which to choose. I have gotten only one B freshman-junior year, and would like to have a shot at competitive schools. Well here are my options:

Scenario 1:
AP Statistics
AP Civics
AP English
AP Biology
AP Spanish

Scenario 2:
AP Statistics
AP Civics
AP English
AP Biology
AP Art History

Scenario 3:
AP Statistics
AP Civics
AP English
AP Biology
Regular Spanish 4

Okay my predicament is that I took Spanish 1-3 Fresh-Jr year, and would like to take AP Spanish next year, but I am certain that I will get a B (Only one person, a native speaker, got an A last year). Now if i take AP Art History, i will most likely get an A, but would only taking foreign language 3 years hurt me that much, even though i get the gpa boost? And if foreign language is really important, should i just take regular spanish 4, and get an A? I'm so confused, need help!

Honestly, I think you should do what you want. I don't think having ONE B out of a very difficult courseload will hurt you. I don't think you should take the regular Spanish class, however. If you're truly interested in Art History and dislike Spanish, take Art History. You've invested a lot into Spanish though, and as far as actual LEARNING goes, you should probably continue with that.

I'd go with Scenario 1 and finish up the language unless you're really into Art History. One B certainly won't kill you.

I'd agree with Jakor - go for Scenario 1...it would definitely look better, as well as help you in general, to have AP Spanish, regardless of the grade. If you have to take Spanish in college anyway, then taking a year off could really set you back.
