Have Brown and Stanford stated whether or not they are using the waitlist?

i highly doubt stanford is using their waitlist. they accepted 0 students last year from it, and there were more applicants this year (i'm on it too).

I decided to alphabetize. Guys, if you know a wait list is active, copy, paste and add the college to the lists. It's alphabetical, and it should have about 300 colleges on it by this evening. Best of Luck to everyone (ye can rub me if ye want; I'm Irish & sold my soul to the devil last night.)

Reportedly Active Waitlists:
Carnegie Mellon
Duke
Emory
George Washington
Northwestern
Tulane
Vandy

For those with direct info about schools' waitlists being active, are they notifying by phone, e-mail, or snail-mail?

I'd just like to confirm that GW's wait list is active (at least for the business school) since I got in through it on Monday. Anyhow that made my day
