When does the status of the Common App school forms change? Does it ever? Mine has been saying offline forever. Well..I guess thats why it says "offline" right? Not sure if anyone can help that'd be great.

"offline" just means that the form was completed as a separate attachment from commonapp correct?

Yeah, offline means that you submitted the forms online (but not on the commonapp) or through the mail. it will never change. you should get confirmation from the school from an email or letter. (some schools also let you check online)

Mine have been offline for a long time (all submitted through common app)
is there something wrong? or is it just taking a while for colleges to receive my apps?

It may go through, but the entire application will be late. Nothing is sent to an all-in-one school until both parts are submitted.

Dont worry about the offline designation. I forget what it means, but it has no real importance. My son's page shows offline for a school he got in at EA.

i was wondering when/how we find out about acceptance/denial letters. If I applied using the Common App, can we find out online, or do we have to wait for a letter? If it's in a letter, does it come on April 1st? Or is it sent on April 1?

Carlyhop, how and when you are notified of a decision has nothing to do with the Common App. It's up to each individual school to notify you. Some do it by mail. Some mail all the letters on April 1; some stagger the letters and send them out as decisions are made. Some send e-mail. Some give you a web link and a password and you can look online. You need to ask the schools you've applied to.

VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION PLEASE ANSWER!

so i recently made a new version of my common app bc i needed to change something.

Do i submit my supplement for that school on the new version along with its app or on the old version. I am thinking they should both be sent on the new but is that correct?

thanks a lot to anyone that can help!
