no not the school forms, the status of your application once you submit it. it shows up in green either submitted or downloaded

EDIT:
Rileydog cleared this up in another thread. he said:

"Is it an "all-in-1" institution? I had the same question and found an answer in the help section. It stated that both are downloaded at the same time but that only the application will say downloaded if it is an "all-in-1" institution. If you look at your list of colleges on the commonapp, an asterisk identifies the "all-in-1" institutions. Good luck to you!"

Well the help section on the commonapp site confirms Rileydog's assertion:

"As an All-In-1 school, when your application is downloaded by the school, the supplement is also downloaded even though the application does not reflect "downloaded" under the supplement."

So maybe yours is a special case bigreddawgie

I just discovered that I forgot to notify that I am an Early Decision Applicant...I should notify that at the first page, right? So, what can I do now?????????????????

BTW,will the school see my online application after they receive the package?(I mean transcript.recommendation letter..etc)?
Because I sent them a cover letter about my delay SAT instead of typing that in the addtional information....

cjenny - You should contact admissions right away and let them know. Also, make sure you submit the early decision agreement right away to make it official. The school is sent your online application after you submit it, either electronically or paper copy, usually within a day or two.

On the page that lists your college selections, there is a checkbox to indicate ED. That should be checked before submitting the application. When you check that box, it will update you checkist page with the ED date. Even after submitting ED, the ED items on the first page of the applicant's copy are not filled in. However, there should be a link to the early decision agreement on the supplements page.

Hey guys, my application for this college is due December 1st and they require the common app. So my problem is"

1) Do i have to finish the common app before that and submit it?
Or
Can I submit the common app to them, and then have a common app (with essays that i get more time to work on) for the regular January 1st.

Under the Standardized Tests Section, I put "Mathematics Level 1C" when I took the "Mathematics Level 1" SAT Subject Test. My Common App is already locked. Does this make a difference? Or is it 6 of one, 1/2 dozen of another?

People to People?

I've seen a lot of questions about the "If you have attended any other Secondary Schools, summer schools, or programs since ninth grade" box, but haven't found how to submit attending a People to People program. It won't show up on my transcript (my counselor is really difficult to work with). I'm not sure if I should try to put it in one of the extra sections or not.

Also-- I'm not sure what to do about dual enrollment. My school just made AP English dually enrolled with a community college. I don't know if I should list the college under "Other College/University Credit" section or just not mention it.

I hope I'm not being too repetitive.

I have a question on the University of San Diego app.

It's part of Common Application. Their Letter of Recc wants a school advisor/counselor/principal to complete it. I really want my teacher (who's writing my other letters) to do it instead, so can I just use the Common App teacher evaluation form?

You must follow the college's instructions. I would use the Common App teacher evaluation form and give it to the school adivisor, counselor, or principal. I believe there's a line where you state their title so I'm sure they'll put it there. I'd also make a note of it when I sent those recommendations in that although the teacher evaluation/recommendation form is being used, the recommender is actually a school official.

If I paste a picture into a word document with my essay, and then upload that to the common app website, will that work? Will admissions officers see the picture?
