Is being a member of the National Honor Society considered as an Academic Honor/Award

I am currently filling out my common application online and I have a question about this.

Since the common app only allows you to list up to 7 of your extra-curricular/volunteer work, I don't have room to include my induction into the:

National Honor Society
Spanish National Honor Society
Science National Honor Society

I was inducted in my junior year and thus haven't put in that many hours (well no one in my school has because the induction is in May. As a result, I didn't include it in my Extra-Curricular section.

Can I put it in my Academic honors/Awards section?

Thanks.

Yeah, National Honor Society is so commonplace though, it won't make much of a difference. It's good that you listed other EC's. And it's nice to put those in academic honors if yours is sparse.
