You have to find the cost per credit. If the cost per credit is x, and your econ class is 4 credits, the cost would be 4x.

It looks like 282 per credit. Probably most freshman courses are 3-4 credits per course.

Warning: my son took courses at our public flagship during high school. When he enrolled for 9 credits per semester, it kicked him into "more than half-time" mode and he got charged activity fees and insurance in addition to course fees.

There's usually a one time registration fee (nominal) and possibly some type of start/up or records fee. The fee schedule is normally on the bursar's pages. You can always call and ask as well. Science courses with a lab will carry a lab fee as well.
