Please don't take this wrong, but as geezermom said in post #19, this was pretty easy stuff to find. Maybe parents really are smarter? Either that or our kids are still getting us to do stuff for them !

(and I didn't use the CB website, I went straight to the individual college's sites)

OP, the way you say "retaliate" makes it sound like you're asking if the adcoms will come jump you, ahah.

If you want to know what address to send the email to, look at the old emails you have recieved from the schools and reply to that address...even if it is a generic one. that is, if you have save these emails like me

do you need to notify colleges that you will not be attending?

If you get into several, do you have to tell the other schools that you will not be going there?

You should have notified all of your colleges of your decision by May 1st. You should still give them the courtesy of confirming that you're not attending so they know for sure and they can free up your spot for someone that is hopeful on the wait list. They also want to know where you'll be attending. I let all of mine know and got some nice letters back from them. You never know- you may be going to one of them for grad school.

Admissions officer: "Do we need to send letters to all our applicants that we're not accepting? Won't they figure it out if they don't get an acceptance by April 1?"

If that doesn't make sense to you then neither does your question. In the time it took to post this thread you could have returned the postcard they sent, or if they didn't give you a postcard, sent them an e-mail.

You should have done it by May 1st. That way they're sure who's not coming and more people can get off the waitlist.
