Do colleges verify "projects"?

Hi, all.

I'm preparing to apply to colleges, and I've written up a resume of all of my game development projects/achievements.

Should I prepare a demonstration disc to send to colleges or is my word on the application sufficient? I included screenshots on the resume to quell any doubts, but I'm just not sure if they'll want to run the programs for themselves.

Thanks!

Any time you have proof of your accomplishments it can only strenghten your application. Send a demo disc- who knows- they may send them to the CS dean and he may say to admissions "we have to have this kid!"

Just be sure to first check the policy on supplementary materials - if the school allows it, def. send it in! If they have a strict "NO $#@$*@(%* MATERIALS" policy...then prob best not to
