I'm wondering if anyone has info on schools that don't look at SAT writing sections for SAT. I have always done good on the CR and M but horrible on the writing. A list of schools would be great.

how about critical reading? lol. writing and math are easy, but, of course, that is subjective to the student.

Colgate doesn't look at writing.

An admissions officer from Rice University told me they completely disregard the writing score when evaluating applicants.

Me: I noticed when you described the average SAT scores you used the 1600 scale. Is there any reason for that? I mean, are only math and cr taken into account?

Admission Officer: Well, at this point, there isn't enough evidence to prove that the writing section can be used as an accurate predictor of college success so no, we don't take it into consideration.
