How important are SAT IIs?

I took 4 SAT IIs, but one of them is not that high, but my SAT I is 2240. How big of an impact will the low SAT II have on my admission?

It depends a lot on the school. Which are you looking at?

Most colleges will only look, at the most, at the top 3 SAT II scores. In fact, most colleges are only top 2 SAT II scores.

If you're still worried, what subjects did you take, and what were your grades in your corresponding classes? I think the point of SAT IIs is to "standardize" your courses.

I don't think it will be a problem. That is a decent score, you can always retake it if you have time. For those schools I would say your SAT II doesn't make it or break it.
