one of my old teachers asked me if he could write me a letter of recommendation

Just a few days ago, one of my old teachers (he left the school), ask me if he could write me a Letter of recommendation. So, the deadline for MIT has obviously passed, but, can I send it still?

You can send it. No guarantee that they'll look at it.

Fax it and snail mail it. E-mail will get lost in all the e-mail they get; snail mail by itself may take too long.
