So I still got that question about SAT II's: Would a Math IIC and World History be good enough for Finalist status? I'm taking SAT II biology and physics in October and sending to individual colleges on November 2nd.

And the sum of the 3 parts for the household income on my QB app is different from the AGI on the 2008 tax form...this is okay right? As long as I explain in the additional info section, right?

@tom: You're good with the SAT 2s. I only have World and Spanish so far (taking US History and Lit in October). And YUUUUSSSSS A representative FINALLY picked up! I love my life. She said that it doesn't matter if you faxed in two school reports. They'll figure it out. She said that you should be worrying less about doubles and more about what you may be missing.

Just a though to all, you should print out your final QB submission, as you may need to reference it later on, or...........look at it and say what the heck was I thinking????

Just kidding of course on the last part!

Too late to edit/add on to last post. QB will lock you out of accessing your "My Locker" at some point, so better to print out sooner than later.

I am thinking of leaving additional information blank..........Would this make me come off as lazy or affect me in any way?

@Paki: I think that it's a total myth that leaving the additional portion blank makes you come off as lazy. If you have to force some extra stuff out, then do you really think it's in your best interest? Less fluff for the admissions people to read...

How would a research abstract look to them?

My guts tell me they dont care about fancy research stuff, only stuff that has made us deprived.

I have a research abstract that I plan to submit to individual colleges as a supplemental (by november 2nd I guess), but not as part of the QB app. I don't think they care about it.

So, nothing in the additional?

I think i pretty much gave my background in my essays. My mom had a surgery couple months ago and I had to take her to physical therapy everyday which took up a lot of time, but i dont think im going to mention it. It sounds whiny right?

Both of my parents were unemployed this year and we have been struggling. I did say some stuff about it in the 30 word limit. Should I expand and tell of the hardships??

besides that i cant think of anything.

Dude I'm kinda in the same situation where I talk a little about my parents and how I'm inspired to pursue my own interests. Yet, I haven't really had any major hardships, compared to some other people out there.

I suggest you pull a Pitchfork Media and state that Radiohead is the best band, like, ever.

Straight from the Questbridge themselves:

We will accept faxes that are sent by the September 30 deadline. It is fine if they take additional time to be processed. However, we encourage you to submit faxes as soon as possible so that you will have the chance to verify that they were received.

@Paki: I would mention the surgery for extenuating circumstances about grades because it took up a lot of time. Maybe mention the no job situation in the bio?...dunno. If you feel like you don't have to say all that stuff then don't....

@hawks: .....your favorite music? Like artists that you enjoy listening to.....
