The information I posted in post #124 was taken from the website that same day, so I'm confused as well. Sorry if I posted any erroneous info.

I emailed Questbridge. They told me that SAT scores in October can be sent directly to the schools you rank for the CollegeMatch process. Those scores will be fully considered for the big decision in early December.

yes! ok I thought so, that wouldn't make sense if they didn't. Thank you flyingllama for clearing that up. They seriously need to change that it can be soo misleading.

Yeah, I got the same email. However, are you sure they'll "fully consider" the October 10th test date? I guess, they'll consider it for most people but how do you know the college you ranked accepted or declined you before they even received your newest test score?

so doesnt that mean that in deciding their finalist standing, they'll only consider June testing dates?

I'm sure this question has been answered before, but I'm still rather confused about it:
If I apply to say, Princeton and Yale as my numbers 1 and 2 choices, and Bowdoin as number 3. Lets say all three accept me (I know, ridiculous..). Do I then get to choose since the first two are non-binding? Or do you only get an offer from the first one?

You will only get an offer from one, whichever wants you and is highest on your list. In your scenario, you will only be notified that Princeton has matched you.

Finalist Portion - Cannot retake SAT (June 6 was the last date) - Find out if you're a finalist on October 23
College Match - Can retake it (last test date is October 10) - Find out if you're matched to a school on December 1st
Regular Decision - Can retake it (last test date is sometime in November) - Find out your status sometime in April. Hope you're not confused now

Thanks excitedg for that info.
D did take the Sept. or Oct. ACT, I don't remember. I guess her score did not get her to the finalist round, but once she was there, I do know that she printed off the ACT site her score report, and sent it to the schools she listed as matches, and also to QB. Of course, her official report had to be sent later, but the day scores came out, she did made sure she sent them out ASAP. Her match school did have that score in hand when they accepted her.

You can retake the ACT before the finalist right? It's pretty early in September, before the due date.
