USABO help

Ok, if I apply to say MIT or Caltech would USABO not count?

The competition starts in January and ends in July.

So if I studied basically all summer and did this next year, how would this count on my resume?

After I make semifinals can I just call and tell MIT?
Would I have to reapply if I don't make the school w/out this?
Would I have to transfer?

This didn't really answer my question but thanks though.

If say I studied all summer for this competition how would colleges look at this?

Do I just put on my transcript that I am going to compete (for EA)

For regular decision how much would it change my chances to big name schools by getting to semifinals/finals?
