Listing Your ECs - When Less Is More?

I'm one of those applicants with a theme in my application. When colleges see my EC+essay, they'll see a personality that emerges (I really think)...

But I have done many many other small ECs (secretary in 1 or 2 clubs, tutoring for 30-50 hours) that do take up some time....but they aren't part of the 'theme' of my application.

Just I list them in Additional Info....or is it really not worth mentioning at all?

The reason I'm asking is..in the chance threads, people list EVERYTHING they've ever done in their life (even 1 day marathon volunteering, for example)...idk, if i don't list them... will i stick out like a sore thumb (because I only have about 4 very central ECs...)...

Or will the extra ECs 'clutter' my application and make it appear all-over-the-place?

I'm kind of wondering this, too...

I've seen people list "reading" as an EC. lol.
